This plate works perfect for covering low voltage wires for wall mounted tvs. I even ran an extension cord through mine. 1 behind tv and 1 behind equipment. No more hanging cables.

This is very friendly for large installations that you don't want to disconnect/refish/reconnect. The plastic is pliable enough to overstuff with monster cables. I recommend snapping the cover shut BEFORE screwing the top to the gangbox, to make sure the tab is lined up and that you're not pinching any wires on the hinge side. Looks much better than a generic square-hole plate.
