The MAG35's base is just over 1 inch in diameter and roughly 1/2 an inch tall (yep - it's little). While it does come equipped with a carabiner, the hole in the base is large enough to accommodate a wide variety of other options such as cable ties, split rings, hooks, etc (none of which are included).
