Ripley Cablematic's DDT-59611 is Tech Tool Supply's most requested cable stripper. It offers a small body design that allows for cable preparation of 59, 6, 7 and 11 coax cable without any adjustment or blade cassette change out. It is compatible with Standard, Tri, and Quad Shield cables. One step cable preparation precisely exposes the center conductor by 5/16" (7.93 mm) and removes the proper length of jacket at 1/4" (6.35 mm). With it's built-in strip stop you get a precise preparation every time.

The plastic brush on the bottom of the stripper is specifically designed for folding braid back and saving your fingertips from shielding splinters.

    The company I work for issued these to me but they broke and wanted to charge me triple what they are worth so I bought them on my own and they strip cable like magic, best quality out there

    My employer supplies us with separate rg6/11 strippers. This cleared up some space in my tool pouch. I don’t know why they do not issue these instead. It strips better than the cable prep ones we are issued. For $22 it’s a no brainer. The braid brush is pretty useless though  haha. I could see it being useful for the flooded cable that’s been sitting in the weather for years but other than that I don’t see a point. Ripely makes good products. My stand alone rg6 stripper from my directv days is about 1.5 yrs old and still works better than the cable prep. Plus it has the length stop for the correct length of the center conductor. Idk just buy it already.. or don’t I don’t care lol

    I've always preferred the CablePrep tools for stripping coax because they always make a clean right angle cut on the cable. This new Cablematic tool looked very similar in design, so I wanted to give it a try. While it performed better than many tools I’ve tried, it still didn’t always make the clean straight cut I’m accustomed to. Any time the cut is not clean and straight it can lead to problems. i.e., the grounding braid too long and not cut cleanly. Long braid can wrap around the center conductor and or bunch up as the connector is pushed onto the cable. Both problems can cause multiple symptoms which may not be noticed immediately leading to intermittent problems later. While this Cablematic tool is better than many I’ve tried, it still lacks the consistent performance of the CablePrep CPT tools.
