Much better then the original superbuddy February 23, 2021 Reviewer: JEREMY BROOKSBY from St George, UT United States   I’ve been using the super buddy for the last 8 to 10 years. Finally decided to get the new version and what a difference. Faster start up and much more sensitive to sighting in a satellite dish. Did the XR3 perform as expected? Actually better September 1, 2019 Reviewer: Ron W. from Traveling, United States   I’m not a technician so my input would not impress those who are.  I purchased the XR3 to make setting up our Hopper3 easier. We’re full time RV’ers.  When in a location for any length of time I set up the Hopper.  We tape our programs and watch them later.  The Hopper gives us the ability to record multiple proms at once.  Our Wally’s don’t. After purchasing the XR3 I was able to successfully home and lick the Dish 1000.2wa antenna in under 10 minutes.  I’ve done this once and won’t attempt homing the antenna again until October.
