The Coax Cable Continuity Tester is an easy to use tool for testing coax cable. With it you can check DC shorts, splitters and self-grounding devices in coax cable. An audible tone sounds when the line-carrying signal is detected.

Audible Tone alerts when cables match - simply plug the sender into a wall jack in a room. Back at the location where all the cables come together, connect one cable at a time to the speaker until a tone is heard, and you've found your cable.

We have cable in multiple rooms but some we rarely use. We got tired of the cable company charging us monthly for all their boxes so we consolidated. This tool enables us to find the wire hook ups for our sets we aren't using to move connections around as need be.

I have about or 9 different cables coming down to my basement. A cable guy from our previous carrier decided to eliminate and connect the cables in all different splitters thinking it was our one 7 port splitter. Turns out it was the old cable box they provided to us that was the issue with the pix-elated TV. Once we switched providers and they gave us a modern box the picture was great. This tool made it extremely easy to reconnect the rooms I wanted.
