The Chex-Zit is a combination continuity and electrical current tester used for performing routine diagnostics on circuits and wiring (low voltage applications up to 220v). The Chex-Zit is made of aircraft grade aluminum and buffed to a durable satin finish. A bright red LED indicates when continuity (no open circuits) or voltage is detected.

Use the Chex-Zit is great for checking fuses, shorts in coaxial cable, speaker wires, and more!

I've used the Chex-Zit for many years now, and am only replacing the old one because the TSA goons managed to break the tip of the one I had. I wouldn't be without it.
