This tool is designed for use installing and removing Gilbert Locking Terminators. The RMT-LTT7 is constructed with solid steel ears that pop out after insertion. The plunger on the shaft allows installers to manually retract the steel ears for easier insertion and removal.

If you work for a cable contractor or a cable company, this is probably your most popular tool. It may not be a bad idea to buy two and have a backup available.

    First impressions are that it's built better than other ones I've tried. The steel shank going into the plastic handle has wider flat edges so the steel doesn't spin inside the plastic, unlike the cheaper versions. I hope it lasts longer than 1 tight terminator.
