Holland Electronics Attenuator series has been developed to meet the requirements and improve performance of CATV, Off-Air, SMATV, and other RF distribution systems. The FAM-6 in-line attenuator can be inserted in coaxial cable feeds to reduce signal levels. Combinations of attenuators may be used together to create the exact signal loss needed.

    Yup, it reduces the signal level by 6db. I checked it. It was used to simulate cable loss on the bench but has other uses as well.

    These had been good attenuators but had slipped a bit in quality the last year or so.  They seem redesigned and are now back on par with the older ones.
